As you know, wearing your retainer after braces or Invisalign is absolutely key to maintaining your beautiful smile for a lifetime. If you stopped wearing your retainer, or your teeth are moving after braces years later, you can get orthodontic retreatment with Blue Wave Orthodontics.
We’ll start with a complimentary consultation and comprehensive smile exam. Your Board-Certified orthodontist (Dr. Cetta or Dr. Heddaya) will assess your current smile and the extent of the misalignment.
We’ll determine your treatment cost too! Your cost will be determined based on the length of treatment needed to perfect your smile. We offer flexible financing options, including in-house financing, to help you manage your cost.
Based on the evaluation, your orthodontist will create a customized treatment plan. You’ll be able to choose from braces (LightForce™ 3-D printed custom braces, Invisalign® clear aligners, clear braces or metal braces). However, your orthodontist may recommend one treatment over the other in order to create the best results in the shortest amount of time.
Throughout your retreatment, you’ll visit us for periodic check-ups, where your orthodontist will monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your plan. Your orthodontist will ensure that your teeth are moving into a beautiful alignment!
Once your treatment is complete, it’s time to commit to wearing your retainer! It’s essential that you wear your retainer as instructed this time; you don’t want to go through another retreatment.
We provide Clear Essix retainers (similar to Invisalign clear aligners), Hawley retainers (with metal bars and an acrylic plate), and fixed/permanent retainers attached to the back surfaces of your teeth.
We also offer a Retain Program for long-term protection! After paying the initial enrollment fee, you’ll receive up to 4 free replacement retainers per year (one arch per replacement). If you lost your previous retainer, we highly recommend opting into our Retainer Program.
Orthodontic retreatment is available for moderate misalignments and touch-ups. Instead of undergoing full orthodontic treatment again, we can do a straightening treatment at a fraction of the cost.
Since you’ve already invested in braces or clear aligners in the past, retreatment leverages your previous investment and focuses on fine-tuning and perfecting your smile.
