Can I use a payment plan for braces or clear aligners in 2025?

Orthodontic treatment is a priceless investment — but that doesn’t mean cost isn’t a factor. We understand this! We’re always looking for ways to make orthodontics more affordable and more convenient for you and your family.

If you’re thinking about investing in yourself and transforming your smile, we have some great news for you.

Can I use a payment plan for braces or clear aligners in 2025? Yes, you can! You don’t have to pay in full for orthodontics. At Blue Wave Orthodontics, we offer flexible clear aligners payment plans and braces payment options.

Here’s how:

We create affordable, beautiful smiles!

In 2025, you have a lot more options when it comes to financing clear aligners or braces. On your first visit, we’ll present all of our financing options and help you decide which financing option best meets your needs.

In the meantime, here’s what you’ll be able to choose from:

1. Pay over time with flexible financing options.

We offer flexible, in-house financing with 0% interest to help you manage your braces monthly payments or clear aligners monthly payments.

With our flexible, in-house financing option, we help you pay for orthodontics through an easy, in-house plan that works for your budget. Or choose outside financing with HFD financing!

When you visit Dr. Ricafort, Dr. Mansour, and Dr. Heddaya, one of our friendly team members will get to know you, chat about your needs, and work with you to create a custom financing plan with an affordable down payment and low monthly payments.

2. Insurance covers more than you may think!

Dental insurance can cover a lot more of your orthodontics cost than you may think! We offer a complimentary Insurance Benefit Check prior to your first visit, and if you have dental insurance, we will reach out to your provider and verify how much of your treatment would be covered by your insurance.

Our team will handle all of the paperwork for you. We’re here to help you receive the maximum benefit from your dental insurance plan!

We’ll calculate your orthodontic insurance coverage, apply it to your treatment cost, then work out a custom clear aligners payment plan or braces monthly payment plan to cover the rest.

3. Use your FSA, HSA, or tax refund.

Did you know that you can also apply your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) to your orthodontics cost? Using your FSA or HSA for braces or clear aligners is one of the most impactful ways to use either savings account.

You can combine your FSA or HSA funds and insurance coverage for even more savings, and then we can work out an in-house financing plan to help you manage your remaining balance.

If you got a nice tax refund this year, consider putting it toward a smile transformation! A beautiful, healthy smile is the gift that keeps giving for the rest of your life.

How much is clear aligners with insurance?

The cost of clear aligners with insurance will depend on the cost of your treatment, and then the amount that your insurance provider covers.

Most insurance plans cover 25–50% of the cost, meaning you would only be responsible for the remaining balance — which we’ll work into a flexible payment plan. We’ll verify your benefits, file the paperwork for you, and help you receive the max coverage from your plan.

We’ll work out a personalized treatment plan, and your financial plan will be completely customized to you and your needs to help you manage your costs. Whether you have insurance or not, we’re here to create a financing solution that makes you feel comfortable.

We’ll use these x-rays and 3D model of your smile to identify the orthodontic issue and its severity, then determine the cost of treatment.

We’ll also calculate your insurance benefit, apply any HSA/FSA funds you may have, and determine your remaining treatment cost.

3. Let’s create your custom financing plan!

Finally, we’ll work out an in-house financing plan and we’ll chat through your needs to come up with a down payment and monthly payments that work for you.

4. Start smiling!

Once you select your clear aligners payment plan or braces payment plan, you’re ready to start smiling. It’s that easy!

The next step is preparing for your treatment — whether you choose clear aligners, ceramic clear braces or traditional metal braces. With our custom treatments, we’ll take another scan of your smile to have your custom treatment designed and printed.
