Merging 65 Years of Experience as Blue Wave Orthodontics

Dr. Randy Feldman of Feldman Orthodontics and Dr. Ernest McDowell of McDowell Orthodontics are pleased to announce a merger of their 65 years of orthodontic experience in Tampa Bay as a combined business partnership, called Blue Wave Orthodontics.

Dr. Chelsea Brockway, a St Petersburg native, also brings her talents and expertise to the team. Blue Wave Orthodontists have the collective Invisalign experience of over 4,500 cases and among the Top 1% of Providers Worldwide!

Dr. Feldman started his Orthodontic practice in 1982 on Florida Avenue in North Tampa. Feldman Orthodontics was the first orthodontic practice to open South of Kennedy in over 25 years and was very happy to open in South Tampa in October 1989. Dr. Feldman added, “I had been established in North Tampa on Florida Avenue since 1982, however, we had lots of patient requests to open in South Tampa.”
Dr. McDowell has been in practice since 1987; providing 30 years of experience, with over 15,000 happy patients. Having three convenient locations in Pinellas County, they are well connected within the communities of Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park, and all beach communities.

Regarding the partnership and current campaign, Dr. Feldman says, “We’re Making Waves, because this merger is the beginning of many great things to come for our patients, team members, and community.” Dr. McDowell adds, “This new venture will allow us to provide care to more patients with better scheduling, provide better opportunities for our team members, and give us more resources to more positively impact our community. All of these things will Make Waves in the lives of those connected with the practice and beyond.”

Our team at Blue Wave Orthodontics has been communicating with our current patients that the merger means better care and easier scheduling now with 7 locations throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, and south of the Skyway. Another big part of the message is that Dr. Feldman and Dr. McDowell are not retiring and remain the primary orthodontist for current patients.
This new venture will allow Blue Wave Orthodontics to provide care to more patients, create better opportunities for our team members, and give us more resources to positively impact our community. All of these things will Make Waves in the lives of those connected with the practice and beyond.
