Celebrate Oral Health Month And Give Kids A Smile

June is Oral Health Month, and the American Dental Association (ADA) and Colgate have teamed up a second year to celebrate, promote oral health, and to give kids a smile. So this month is dedicated to Share More Time, Share More Smiles, a public awareness campaign that encourages Hispanic families to establish healthy oral health habits.
This month, Colgate will donate $1 to the ADA Foundation’s Give Kids a Smile program (with a minimum donation of $10,000 and a maximum donation of $40,000) every time you share or like a photo of yourself or someone you know practicing good dental hygiene habits on social media. Use the hashtag #TimetoSmile in your post to make it count. A great number of dental teams and people participated last year, and those photos made a difference.

The Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) program was launched in 2003 by the ADA, and has provided more than 5.5 million underserved children with free oral health services. These services are provided by volunteers, including approximately 30,000 dentists annually, and 30,000 other dental team members.

Dr. Randy Feldman, Dr. Ernest McDowell, and Dr. Chelsea Brockway invite you to check out some of the great resources that the Colgate put together for Oral Health month including their oral care tips and activities. They are in English and Spanish.
